Allure Cruise ship

Phoenix Reisen stands for a classic cruise experience. The main onboard language is German because most of the passengers are German. Guest like events as the captians dinner, the coffee party and the morning pint. Many passengers became regular guest onboard Phoenix cruise ships.

The ship

Of all cruise ships on the German market the MS Amadea fills a unique niche. With a length of 193 meters and a maximum of 600 guests she provides exceptionally much individual space for everyone. Due to the relatively small size of the ship routings are extraordinary and lead to many interesting harbours which most other cruise-lines never visit.

Language on board

German is the only language officially used on this ship. Therefore most of the guests are from the German speaking countries. Even though there is usually personnel on board who speaks English no services in English (menus, tours, etc.) are provided. It is therefore strongly recommended to speak a bit of German when travelling on the MS Amadea.

Atmosphere on Board

The MS Amadea can surely not be defined as a "party-ship". Though atmosphere on board is cultivated and calm life is not too formal. More formal clothing is expected only on some festive evenings during the cruise. The crew is very friendly and takes good care about the guests' wellbeing.

Cabins

A quite unique feature of the Amadea is the fact that there are only exterior staterooms. With a minimum size of 16m² they are relatively spacious. All staterooms provide lots of amenities like satellite TV with DVD player, mini-bar, WC and shower or even bath-tub, hairdryer and bath-robes. All staterooms are equipped with a safe.
